How Cross-Campus Connections Work During Events
How Clstr opens up your network during inter-college fests and hackathons without breaking your private campus feed.
The campus boundary
By default, Clstr is a closed network. You only see posts, clubs, and people from your own college. That's what keeps the feed relevant and the community tight-knit.
But college life isn't isolated. Fests, hackathons, and sports tournaments bring campuses together.
Unlocking cross-campus events
When your college hosts or participates in a verified inter-college event, Clstr opens a temporary bridge. The event gets its own dedicated feed where students from all participating colleges can interact.
You can see who's attending, talk trash before a match, or find a cross-campus team for a hackathon.
What is shared
During these events, students from other colleges can see your public profile (your name, skills, and bio) if you interact in the event feed.
They can't see your private campus feed, your internal clubs, or anything else restricted to your college.
After the event
When the event ends, the bridge closes. The connections you made stay in your DMs, but your campus feed goes back to being just your people. It's the best of both worlds: open when you need it, private when you don't.
